Keukenhof: A Springtime Wonderland of Colour
At Keukenhof, the tulips seem to echo one another from one flower bed to the next. We love both the sweeping displays of colour and the flower exhibitions inside the pavilions. During our 2018 visit, we were especially enchanted by the arrangements: tulips, calla lilies and so many other flowers were at their most beautiful. We have devoted a whole article to Keukenhof because it deserves more than a passing glance.

Ashikaga Flower Park: A Fairytale of Wisteria
In Japan, Ashikaga Flower Park draws us into an enchanting world. Long clusters of purple, pink and white wisteria cascade overhead, while brightly coloured azaleas make the walk even more magical. We especially loved discovering these beautiful floral displays. Beneath the wisteria canopies, we almost felt as though we had stepped into a fairytale.

Montreal Botanical Garden takes us from one world to another. We love the delicate lotus flowers, the exotic plants and the atmosphere of its themed gardens. From Asian-inspired landscapes to botanical collections, this is a place where we want to slow down and appreciate every detail.

On Mainau Island, flowers meet the beautiful scenery of Lake Constance. We were captivated by the variety of plants, the carefully tended flower beds and the views across the water. Known as the ‘Flower Island’, Mainau is a lovely place for a peaceful stroll among roses, seasonal gardens and the butterfly house.

In London, Kew Gardens impresses us with its vast grounds and remarkable plant collections. Its grand glass-and-iron greenhouses are just as fascinating as the plants inside them. Between the Palm House, tree-lined paths and gardens, we discover a place where natural beauty and botanical research meet. Kew is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Royal Greenhouses of Laeken: A Palace of Glass and Flowers
The Royal Greenhouses of Laeken open to visitors for only a short period each year. We particularly love the fuchsias, the abundance of flowering plants and the dreamy atmosphere along the paths. The delicate flowers contrast beautifully with the grand glass-and-metal structures: this is a place that invites us to look up as well as admire the blooms.

Copenhagen Botanical Garden: A Green Oasis in the City
Copenhagen Botanical Garden charms us with its azaleas, rhododendrons and magnificent greenhouse. Although it sits in the heart of the city, the atmosphere is calm and green. We enjoy wandering among the plants and discovering the garden’s collections before admiring the beautiful historic glasshouse.
